Holland, Alkmaar
Holland is a small free country.
Holland lies next to Belgium and Germany.
Our country is in the west of Europe. Our city lies in the west of Holland.
Alkmaar is close to Amsterdam.
Alkmaar is well-known for its canals and its centre.
It is a nice city where the people love to live.
There are beautiful buildings and nice shops.
Every year there are many tourist coming to our city Alkmaar.
In the summer is it much fun, because the weather is beautiful, and there are so many things to do. For instance: you can go swimming, or go to a gallery.
What many people do is a nice day shopping in the centre.
The centre of Alkmaar is big.
People of other cities, are coming special to Alkmaar, to visit it’s centre for the centre itself.
There are many restaurants from different cultures.
The Dutch people like Chinese food. Though what they call Chinese food is in reality Indonesian food.
Living place: There are many apartments and also many family houses.
The apartments in Alkmaar are mostly not higher than 10 stories
Houses in the apartments exists of a living room, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, toilet and a balcony.
Down stairs you have got a shed too.
The bedrooms in the apartments are large, so you have a lot of space.
Family houses exist out: a big living room, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, toilet, and a ceiling.
You also have got a garden.
There is always a park or a playing-garden in the neighbourhood.
Traffic: The traffic in Holland is orderly.
There are accidents everywhere, but in Holland not to many.
Holland is full with traffic lights, thresholds to make sure the traffic is going slowly, and traffic boards.
weather : The weather in Holland is very changeable.
Sometimes is it cold, and sometimes is it hot.
The average summer temperature is about 20 degrees centigrade.
School:
Our schoolname is “De Fontein”, because we have a little fountain in the patio.(inner-court)
In our school are 180 children and 23 teachers. 
And the group's 5 up to 8 are the older groups.
The classrooms are big and the teachers are friendly (sometimes not)
In the morning we are present at around 8:45.
At 10:30 we have a break for 20 minutes.
At 12:15 you can go home and eat something, 13:30 we are in the classroom again
15:30 we can go home (at last)
Only on Wednesday we are out at12:30 .
In a week, we have gym 2 times.
Our playground is big and their are seats, and a lot of things to do for the children.
